Kelly Thordsen

Kelly Thordsen was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Thordsen's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the horror feature "Invasion of the Saucer Men" (1957) with Steve Terrell, the Dana Andrews dramatic adaptation "The Fearmakers" (1958) and the crime picture "City of Fear" (1959) with Vince Edwards. He also appeared in "Desire in the Dust" (1960), the dramatic adaptation "Sweet Bird of Youth" (1962) with Paul Newman and the Gregory Peck dramatic adaptation "To Kill a Mockingbird" (1962). He continued to act in productions like the Tommy Kirk comedy "The Misadventures of Merlin Jones" (1964), "Shenandoah" (1965) and "The Ugly Dachsund" (1966). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Phyllis Diller comedy "Did You Hear the One About the Traveling Saleslady?" (1968), "Smoke" (1970) and the Robert Morse comedy "The Boatniks" (1970). He also appeared in "Bad Charleston Charlie" (1973) and "Charley and the Angel" (1973) with Fred MacMurray. Thordsen more recently appeared in "The FBI Story: The FBI Versus Alvin Karpis, Public Enemy Number One" (CBS, 1974-75).
