The contestants are tasked with cooking a dish they would eat for the rest of their lives if they found themselves on a deserted island. They have an open pantry and 75 minutes to create something delicious.

Each cook is presented with their favourite and least favourite ingredients to cook with in the first round. The ones that produce the bottom four dishes must compete in round two with their remaining ingredient. Plus, the first MasterClass.

The four best cooks from Nigella's Mystery Box challenge must cook a dish that celebrates custard, and the top performer goes up against Coskun Uysal.

The bottom three contestants must re-create Darren Purchese's iconic dessert, a bombe Alaska, for the first pressure test of the season, with one of them to be eliminated.

A group of 24 contestants have one hour to produce a dish that will impress the judges enough to keep them in the competition.
