Audrey upsets Jeff by giving their old rug to Adam and Jenn, so he tells Adam about all the `fun' he and Audrey had on it in an attempt to sabotage the gift.

Jeff boasts to Adam that he keeps a list documenting all of the mistakes Audrey has made. Adam's attempt to do the same thing with Jen backfires. Russell sends an email full of innuendo to a colleague.

Allison frustrates Timmy by telling him she wants to slow things down, Jeff convinces a very busy Audrey to play softball, and she realises how miserable her job makes her. Jennifer and Adam try to concoct a good story about how they met.

Jeff and Audrey settle on the perfect candidate to carry their child as a surrogate, only for Russell to ruin everything by engaging in a fling with the woman.
