Malcolm Mealy

When Lois has trouble getting her nurse on the telephone, she and Clark drive to the small town of Cliffton to see what the problem is. They find that the town is mostly deserted, and the remaining townsfolk don't seem to want them to know anything.

Bad Luck Brannigan, a wrestler working for a crooked promoter, uses the paralyser to cripple opponents. Clark Kent discovers the promoter has imprisoned an immigrant dubbed `the Swami' who has extensive knowledge of the body's pressure points.
