Nine young talents are selected for the mentoring program, as the three mates go through submissions and get to know each members of their group.

The crew and their teams arrive at the Gold Coast. The musicians go over their demo, Richie put his boys through a strenuous training session, and the group go through a tennis challenge.

Members from each group are challenged to push their skills to the max, as Richie, Mark, and Kid assign difficult tasks to see how well they each fare. The crews are set against each other to see who will be the ultimate champion.

Macca convinces Mick to send the boys to Bali for some filming before they link up with 11-times world surfing champion Kelly Slater for an epic swell and sit cage-side as Richie faces his toughest opponent yet.
