Yom Kippur is approaching and Sarah performs a mikveh in the local creek- a spiritual, cleansing ritual that's unfortunately witnessed by Doris Collins.

But something is clearly troubling her niece, and eventually Sarah confides in her aunt, desperately needing to speak her most dark, shameful secret – something she believes she can’t marry George without telling him.

A seemingly typical morning at Ash Park is revealed to be something else entirely when a modern convertible arrives. In present day, Samantha (Olivia’s grand-daughter) interviews ninety-nine year old Sarah about the family’s history.
