A group of 12 beloved past contestants and 12 emerging home cooks enter the kitchen to share their love of food and compete.

It's course versus course, fans versus favourites, for a massive service challenge, with the winning teams moving on to the immunity decider challenge.

Dessert king Reynold Poernomo comes back to the kitchen for a pressure test dish, his intricate signature dessert, noi. A task that will send one chef home.

The first elimination of the competition sees contestants in a two round challenge, where the maker of the best jaffle in round one is safe, but the maker of the least impressive dish that changed their life in round two will be sent home.

The contestants split into four teams across four benches to create a dish using ingredients from a layer of the balanced diet food pyramid.

A classic service challenge with guest chef Shannon Bennett. Each team must prepare a French-inspired entree, main, and dessert for 20 diners and the judges.
