Contestants must use four ingredients in their final dish, but before the cooking begins, they can barter for the ingredients from each other.

Four contestants are given two-and-a-half hours to make a three-course menu, but they have the chance to be knocked out after each course is tasted.

The top four cooks from the mystery box challenge compete for immunity and a guaranteed spot in the top 10.
