Rick Dial

Rick Dial was a prolific actor who created a name for himself largely on the big screen. Dial's earliest roles were in film, including the Billy Bob Thornton drama "Sling Blade" (1996), the drama "The Apostle" (1997) with Robert Duvall and the dramatic comedy "Mumford" (1999) with Loren Dean. He also appeared in the John Travolta box office smash suspenseful adaptation "The General's Daughter" (1999). His film career continued throughout the early 2000s in productions like the Haley Joel Osment dramedy "Secondhand Lions" (2003) and "Come Early Morning" (2006) with Ashley Judd. His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Badge" (Starz, 2002-03). Recently, he tackled roles in "Crazy Heart" (2009) with Jeff Bridges, the Henry Thomas dramatic musical "The Last Ride" (2011) and the Jack Black comedy "Bernie" (2012). Most recently, Dial acted in "Crackerjack the Movie" (2013).
