Carrie gets the wrong order at an Italian restaurant, creating chaos. Doug becomes upset because he wanted it to be his and Carrie's new restaurant. He begins sneaking into the restaurant behind her back.

Carrie feels disappointed after her colleague receives flowers, which she initially thought were intended for her. Doug attempts to show his romantic side, while Arthur gets called up for jury duty.

After having dinner with their annoying neighbours, Doug gets involved in a pyramid scheme. Tim attempts to convince him what a great idea the scheme to sell water filters is.

Doug volunteers to be a Big Brother and enters a 10km run in an attempt to impress his new protégé, while Carrie accidentally declares her love for the wrong Doug.
