Shane Briant

British-born Shane Briant was an actor who built himself a successful Hollywood film career. Briant started his acting career landing roles in films, such as the Gillian Hills horror film "Demons of the Mind" (1971), the Horst Janson horror flick "Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter" (1972) and "Frankenstein and the Monster From Hell" (1973). He also appeared in "Hawk The Slayer" (1980) with Jack Palance and the Sylvia Kristel drama "Lady Chatterley's Lover" (1982). He also was featured in the miniseries "The Picture of Dorian Gray" (1972-73). He kept working in film throughout the eighties, starring in the Carmen Duncan action film "Reunion" (1984), "Constance" (1984) and the crime picture "Run, Chrissie, Run" (1985) with Carmen Duncan. Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in the romance "Outback" (1988) with Jeff Fahey, the historical drama "Comrades" (1989) with Robin Soans and the Colin Friels thriller "Grievous Bodily Harm" (1989). He also appeared in "Till There Was You" (1991). Most recently, Briant acted in the period drama "The Lovers" (2015) with Josh Hartnett.
