Despite having a successful career as a skilled obstetrician/ gynaecologist, Mindy Lahiri is unlucky in love and desperately needs to get her personal life back on track before her friends and colleagues are forced to stage an intervention. In this first episode, Mindy makes a drunken toast at her ex-boyfriend's wedding, and resolves to turn her life around.
