Toby Keith
Toby Keith's acting career took off when he was just 13 years old. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Country Spring Break '94" (1993-94), "Wildhorse Concert Series Starring Toby Keith" (The Nashville Network, 1993-94) and "America's Music: The Roots of Country" (TBS, 1995-96). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Austin City Limits" (PBS, 974-2015) and "The Road" (The Nashville Network, 1994-96). Keith had a number of different projects under his belt in the early 2000s through the 2010s, including "Willie Nelson & Friends: Live and Kickin'" (USA, 2002-03), "Dancing With the Stars" (ABC, 2004-) and "Beer for My Horses" (2008). His credits also expanded to "Stop-Loss" (2008) and "Neighborhood Sessions Featuring Toby Keith" (TBS, 2015-). Keith has appeared on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" (CBS, 2015-) and multiple award show appearances such as "53rd Academy of Country Music Awards" (2017) and "People's Choice Country Awards 2023." Toby Keith was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2022 and died on February 5, 2024 at the age of 62.
