Disaster narrowly avoided, the group land on Planet Shummoor, the second planet on their mission. Gathering resources proves to be a challenge, but almost every member of the group are optimistic that things will work out.

While the students survive another harrowing ordeal, their parents back home gather to talk about their disappearance.
