Baking It

In the first Big Ol' Bake, a demanding Dickens-inspired challenge, Maya and Andy task the bakers with creating three-tiered cakes that represent their holiday past, present and future.

Maya and Andy divide up the bakers into two groups, one being Naughty and the other being Nice, for their first team challenge; everyone gets to play Secret Santa as they make treats for their fellow bakers.

The bakers roll up their sleeves to build the gingerbread house of their dreams; Andy and Maya get into the spirit of gift-giving with mixed results.

In the Short and Sweet challenge, Maya and Andy play White Elephant with the bakers using store-bought ingredients; in the Pie in the Sky challenge, bakers create stunning and delicious pies.

The bakers must make edible holiday ornaments, a savoury brunch item and a sweet dessert bake, all to determine who will be crowned the `Best in Dough'.
