When Sara and Jack meet for the first time, they feel an undeniable attraction for each other. Sara soon learns her husband, Drew, will be going up against Jack in court.

Sara decides to recommit to her marriage after finding out the truth about Jack, and the murder investigation forces Jack to cross paths with Sara's husband, Drew.

Sara finds herself distracted as she attempts to resist the pull of her attraction to Jack. Meanwhile, Drew concentrates on getting to the bottom of Lou's murder, and he and Jack have a heated confrontation at TJ's bail hearing.

Sara fears her husband knows about Jack when she is confronted by Drew about her recent whereabouts. Karsten resorts to anything necessary in order to retain power.

Sara's affair with Jack gives her a new-found sense of self-confidence. Meanwhile, TJ's new friend finds a crucial piece of evidence for the murder investigation, and Drew attempts to coerce Brandy.

Sara has growing concerns about her relationship with Jack being revealed. A confession from Jack leaves him vulnerable, and Drew obsesses over his wife's recent whereabouts.
