Billy Connolly's Route 66

Stand up comedian Billy Connolly takes on the world's famous highway, Route 66. Starting at at Willis Tower in Chicago Illinois, Billy travels along the highway and heads to Abraham Lincoln's home.

Billy continues his journey to St. Louis and climbs the highest man-made monument in the US, the Gateway Arch. He later participates in a Civial War re-enactment and embraces the American West.

Billy heads off to Oklahoma City and joins a cattle drive and tries his luck at a rodeo show. He later meets two men who helped create the atomic bomb and visits a ghost town.

Billy reacehs the end of his Route 66 adventure at Santa Monica Boulevard. There, he finds a meteor crater, vists Bottle Tree Ranch and learns about the car culture of Ponoma City, Calif.
