Buckingham Palace witnesses the triumphant and tragic final days of the Victorian era. A new king breathes fresh life into the palace in the Edwardian era.

King George V arrives on the throne and the House of Windsor is born. However, life at Buckingham Palace is blown apart by the start of WWI. In 1931, they receive a VIP visit from Gandhi.
