A straightforward case of academic fraud involving two women, university professor Leah and student Rose, soon reveals itself to be much darker.

As relations become hostile, Leah resorts to extreme measures to expose Rose. Tensions flare between Leah and Adam, with the possibility that Adam is taking Rose's side. Rose pursues personal retaliation against Leah.
