Dangerous Waters

Five men on four watercrafts make an ambitious attempt to travel from Seattle to Russia.

The men have been taken into custody at gunpoint by the Russian military and are detained for several days.

The expedition heads up the shallow Stikine River and catch a huge King Salmon cooking it over an open fire. Steven's watercraft breaks down and the team tows him back to town for repairs.

The men run into a huge group of Humpback Whales as they head North and share Alaskan bear stories. Departing Juneau the men get stuck on sand bars at low tide.

The expedition encounters brown bears on Afognak Island; The men cross the Shelikoff Straits, notorious for sinking ships; Steven calls for help when the men are stranded without fuel.

A dangerous flight to refuel the expedition; the men camp among brown bears; the crew finds a dangerous shipwreck and question Steven's leadership.
