Darklands

Damien Dunne is a young aspiring MMA fighter who wants to fight in the cage not on the streets. His brother, Wesley's, involvement with the local drug gang, The Hill Crew, drags him into the world he is trying to avoid. Wes and best friend Butsy Butler have a huge drug import on the way, masterminded by Butsy notorious sister Bernie Butler. Things don't go exactly to plan. Meanwhile Damien's romance with a sister from the local rival drug gang, The Keegans, blossoms.

Damien's brother Wesley is missing, leaving the Dunne family struggling financially and desperate for news. The botched drug deal has forced gang leaders Butsy and Bernie to make new plans to revive their business, but the return of their deadly rival Goose adds more danger to every move.

The feud between the gangs intensifies leading to more violence, just as Damien gets sucked further into Butsy's orbit. Damien is in real danger as his relationship with Nicola comes under increasing pressure from all sides. Having committed a serious crime, Ian is struggling to come to terms with his guilt. And while the Dunne family continues to deteriorate in the absence of Wes, Paddy has some good news about Damien's fighting career.

At Ian's funeral the gang are full of hurt and anger. Totally distraught, Keith is out for revenge. Damien tries to stop him, causing a rift between the friends. And as it all comes to blows, Damien's preparations for his first pro fight are thrown into chaos.

Damien's chances of competing in his big fight are in jeopardy; Paddy grows concerned over Damien's involvement with Butsy; Badger the local detective uncovers something huge.

Damien vows revenge after finally discovering the fate of his brother Wes; as Bernie puts her plan into action, the Keegans face annihilation.
