Two men, former cronies, Volodya and Kostya, meet by chance on the road, when Volodya stopped in his car to pull Kostya's car out of the ditch. At the site of the accident, Volodya learns from his former friend about the death of Sveta, his ex-wife, who seven years ago left him because of Kostya, and about her deepest secret.

Lyosha (Alexey), a business owner, receives the information that the raid will be executed in their office tomorrow.
