Rogelio is on the run with stolen electronics and a mysterious box. Pursued by El Jetas and La Cizañera, he seeks refuge in a church where he is mistaken for a seminarian.

Lázaro's disappearance worries Rogelio because of the photo of his mother in his bag. María Marta accuses Burgos of the kidnapping. When Father Camilo falls ill, Rogelio takes over his duties and performs a novena for Beatriz.

During a storm, Burgos orders the culverts to be plugged in order to flood El Milagro; Rogelio steals things from the neighbours to pay El Jetas, but is interrupted by María Marta.

Tutaina challenges Lázaro after Salomón claims that his uncle played with El Tren Valencia; Lázaro bets the neighbourhood houses in a match against the Burgos team; María Marta receives presents from a secret admirer, Jiménez.

On Major Buenavista's orders, Jiménez locks Rogelio, Lázaro, and the Burgos punks in cells. Rogelio begins to hear confessions in his cell. María Marta appears unexpectedly, and instead of confessing her sins, she reveals a secret.

The arrival of Juan, a well-mannered seminarian with many diplomas, shakes up Rogelio, who fears his secret will be discovered and doesn't want to cause trouble for Father Camilo.
