Extreme Fishing With Robson Green

Robson Green heads to Costa Rica to try to catch the fattest fish he can to fulfil a lifelong fishing dream.

For the second leg of his adventure, Robson heads to the Tennessee River in the Deep South of the US to try `catfish grabbling'. This perilous sport involves catching giant catfish without using rods.

Robson travels to South Africa, where he finds himself in shark-infested waters while paddle skiing. He also tries his hand at reef fishing in a bid to land the biggest salmon of his career.

Robson trawls the North Atlantic for blue marlin, but as the weather worsens, it begins to look like his mission is in vain. He samples a poisonous marine delicacy in the Canary Islands, and hunts a giant catfish on the River Ebro in Spain.

Robson travels to Canada, where he hunts for white sturgeon in British Columbia's Fraser Canyon. He also meets a group of intrepid commercial fishermen and enters a fishing competition with a difference.

Robson Green braves the icy temperatures of Alaska where he tries to catch the American state's most prized fish, the King Salmon. He celebrates Thanksgiving with the indigenous Sugpiaq people.
