Six months after an alien attack devasted the world, a young father struggles to protect his loved ones.

Tom and Hal are ambushed by another more aggressive human group lead by an ex-con while leading a search for supplies.

Tom and Hal lead a mission to rescue Ben where they encounter an alien skitter. Plus, a doctor who may be able to unharness enslaved children safely joins the 2nd Mass.

Tom and his team head out to track down more motorcycles for the 2nd Mass, relying on Pope to guide them to a good location. They seem to be hitting the jackpot - until they meet some unexpected visitors at the bike shop.

Hal comes up with a risky new plan to rescue Ben from the aliens, but it will require someone getting up-close-and-personal with a skitter.

Lt Terry Clayton of the 7th Mass arrives with word that the aliens have wiped out almost his entire division and are now on their way to attack the 2nd Mass.
