Hired as an Elite General, Dennosuke's first task is to negotiate a merger with the leader of the resource starved Ogre Tribe; despite their suffering and Ogre leader's stubbornness, Dennosuke works to find a way forward for the Demon lord's army.

Dennosuke now has the help of Olulu, the daughter of the leader of the ogre clan; this fact greatly annoys Ulmandra, who tries to get close to our protagonist with little success.

The Dark Lord tasks Dennosuke with researching the magical arts so that everyone can use magic even without the necessary power; he will have the help of the elusive Sylphid.

Having done so much under the Overlord's direct orders, Dennosuke feels he must step up his game by becoming proactive; he decides to make a bold move by researching the marketplace with Ulmandra, hoping to find a hint to make the army even greater.
