High Country

Sergeant Andie Whitford transfers to the Victorian High Country and is tasked with hunting down a missing killer, forcing her to navigate the hostile terrain and some equally hostile locals.

Andie's wife, Helen, and their daughter, Kirra, find new acquaintances among the locals; Andie talks to a suspect, a local psychic named Damien, about the two missing people.

After Rose's distressing encounter in the bush, Andie suspects Ghillie Jack, an ex-army recluse, and investigates him in connection to the disappearances.

Sam believes Damien is the man behind the disappearances and resolves to bring him to justice. Andie warns Sam against taking matters into his own hands.

While looking for evidence in the bush, Andie is forced to spend the night alone, battling a flash storm and spine-chilling growling snarls from the surrounding woods.

Andie believes the missing couple were murdered because they discovered a drug crop; Helen gets high; Kirra goes joyriding with her boyfriend.
