Yi-young jumps into the river to save a woman, almost gets hit by a car, doesn't do well at an audition and suffers from insomnia; she encounters a stranger at a convenience store in her neighborhood.

Yi-young meets her friends from college and has fun; at the gathering, Yi-young finds out that her boyfriend cheated on her with her college friend Eun-ju.

Yi-young makes a contract with the man from the convenience store; Ju-wan tells Yi-young to come to the practice for his inauguration performance.

On the first day Yi-young joins the orchestra, false rumors spread that Yi-young and Ju-wan are in an inappropriate relationship.

As soon as Yi-young wakes up in a hospital ward, she goes straight to the orchestra; she is informed that Ju-wan has changed the score and the orchestra doesn't need her to play the timpani anymore.

Yi-young asks Ju-wan to let her work for him and the orchestra; Ju-wan accepts her request and hires her as his assistant.
