Yuji Itadori is a high school boy with amazing physical abilities. On the night of his grandfather's death, he meets Megumi Fushiguro, a first-year student at Jujutsu College, who has come to collect the curse of the tiger cane.

After the delay of his secret execution, Yuji is brought to Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School. He's interviewed by the Principal, who tests his conviction to see if he's worthy of becoming a sorcerer.

Itadori, Fushiguro, and Gojou meet up with the third first-year student, Kugizaki Nobara; Gojou tasks Itadori and Kugizaki with exorcising the curses lurking inside an abandoned building.

Itadori, Fushiguro and Kugisaki are dispatched to handle an emergency at a juvenile detention centre. However, they find a merciless reality waiting for them.

Yuji is unable to take back his body due to the repercussions of overusing Sukuna. The King of Curses takes advantage of that and decides that he's going to take the body hostage and kill Megumi.

Yuji comes back face to face with Sukuna in the aftermath of his own death; Megumi and Nobara begin training for the Goodwill Event; Yuji returns to life to do training under Gojo sensei.
