Land of Tanabata

University student Nanmaru has the supernatural ability to make small holes in anything. One day he learns that his professor has disappeared and that a mysterious murder has occurred.

Nanmaru and the other students go to Marukami Village to search for the missing professor; a villager tells Nanmaru about a power that only those with Marukami blood possess; Emi and the others witness a ritual.

Emi keeps searching for the missing professor; Nanmaru and the others return to Tokyo.

Nanmaru debuts as a lecturer; Emi edges closer to the truth of the Tanabata Festival; authorities outside Marukami Village set their sights on those with powers.

Nanmaru gains unexpected attention after using his powers in an unprecedented event and decides to begin a new business venture with his clubmates; Sachiko, now in Tokyo, tries to stop Takashi.

While Sachiko tells Nanmaru about her past, trucks and aeroplanes vanish in Tokyo, causing a frenzy.
