MARS RED

In 1923, Major Yoshinobu Maeda arrives in Tokyo to question a confused actor who is crushed by a falling prop and revived as a vampire.

Maeda meets the vampires under his command for the first time. Their first mission: hunt down a vampire couple who've been attacking humans in Tokyo.

Yamagami and Kurusu contemplate their new vampiric lives as it sinks in that they're now legally dead. The army brass pressure Maeda and Nakajima for results, aiming to cut funding for Code Zero.

Kurusu struggles to use his vampiric powers in combat as Code Zero investigate a series of strange deaths in Yoshiwara's red-light district.

While Maeda recovers, officials move to disband Code Zero and replace them with a force of British vampires. With less than a month until their deadline, Code Zero track Ascra to Yokohama.

Yamagami and Kurisu move toward the special task force headquarters in the sewers under the capital; Suwa and Takeuchi arrive at Tsukishima.
