Twenty years after their initial separation, half-sisters Tess and Claire are drawn together again when they inherit a vast cattle property, in outback South Australia, from their deceased father, Jack.

Jealousies come out as Claire competes in the rodeo, while Nick and Alex compete for Tess's attention. Meanwhile, Becky's reputation lands her in hot water.

Tess questions Claire's judgement when she buys a pen of sickly sheep. The situation is later made worse for Claire when the transporting truck breaks down on the way back to the farm.

Tess's confidence is shaken after a taking a fall from her horse. Meanwhile, Claire has to make her toughest decision since Jack's death.

Reality Bites
Claire feels threatened when she finds out that her father loved Tess dearly, while Meg and Claire discover more about Becky's life when she returns to the truck stop.
