Monkey

Monkey is summoned to Heaven, but expelled after stealing peaches from the Garden of Immortality. Buddha looks for a holy man to save the world.

Buddha chooses Tripitaka to journey to India and fetch the holy scriptures. Tripitaka is joined by Monkey and his magic powers.

Tripitaka and Monkey start their journey in a village terrorised by a greedy monster called Pigsy and a cannibalistic water monster called Sandy.

Monkey, Tripitaka, Pigsy, and Sandy reach a land ruled by the demonic Golden Horn and his wife. Pigsy learns not all is as it seems.

The immature King of Youth kidnaps Tripitaka to gain the attention of Heaven and Earth, and Monkey's powers prove to be no match for his fiery temper.

When Monkey kills a girl and her elderly parents, no one believes that they were actually demons in disguise and Monkey is sent home.
