When his much coveted position is threatened, young and ambitious investment banker Tom spots a way to get revenge.

Tom is determined to finish the Neftnik deal, but the murderers are always one step ahead of him. Meanwhile, Fredrik is haunted by his past, as he future appears even more bleak than before.

While Prosecutor Skurov questions Tom in custody, Fredrik desperately tries to put a stop to the deal. Losing control of the situation, Tom turns to oil giant RusOil.

Skurov's investigation grinds to a halt, when his superiors neglect to give him any new instructions, leading him to realise that the corruption is far more widespread than he thought. Meanwhile, Fredrik's escape plans are thwarted.

In an attempt to uncover the truth, Tom heads to Sweden, where the past finally catches up with him. Meanwhile, Skurov receives pressure to apprehend Tom, no matter what the cost.

Tom finds himself hunted from all sides and Olga takes matters into her own hands. At the same time, Rebecka hatches a plan and Skurov sees the end in sight.
