Alex Jovy pursues making a $3 million pound feature and hopes to sign his dream cast of Jude Law and Virginie Ledoyen. Leon Herbert takes a grass roots approach, due to lack of finance and connections.

Alex Jovy's script is rejected by Jude Law and Virginie Ledoyen, threatening financial backing for his film, SORTED. Leon Herbert goes into pre-production on his no-budget debut feature film, EMOTIONAL BACKGAMMON.

With his shoot date looming, Alex Jovy still needs 3 million pounds and a male lead for his film. Leon Herbert is behind schedule and relies on his first Assistant Director to keep the project moving forward.

With their projects finally in the can, both Leon and Alex fulfill their dreams of shooting their first feature films. However, they soon realize this is only the first step in producing a movie from "script to screen".
