Navy Divers

At the Royal Australian Navy's training school in Sydney, 27 young men begin their week-long clearance diver assessment test. The test is designed to be the most gruelling experience they have ever had to face, and only 14 will be successful.

As clearance divers are often tasked with conducting deepwater, battle repairs to ships and infrastructure, the young recruits must show that they can cope with working in the unforgiving deep waters of the ocean.

The 13 remaining recruits must prove that they can carry out clandestine, reconnaissance operations on enemy territory. Sleep becomes a bitter sweet memory during their maritime tactical operations testing.

In the final test, the recruits are sent to a remote tropical island off the coast of Queensland, where they must complete the toughest phase yet; demolition.
