Nothing Can Erase You

A decade after losing her son Esteban, Maddi encounters Tom, a young boy who looks remarkably like him. Captivated by the resemblance, she relocates from her home in the Basque Country to Auvergne to stay near him.

Maddi discovers that Tom has memories of Esteban's life, and she calls a child psychiatrist to try to understand what connects the two boys.

Tom has a serious accident and Lazare's investigation leads him to Jonas, the boy's father; Maddi shares a disturbing discovery about Tom with Sabine and Nectaire.

A new body is discovered, making Maddi the prime suspect; Lazare's past relationship with Maddi forces him to let his deputy lead the investigation; the evidence against Maddi piles up, leaving doubt hanging in the air.

Amandine, Tom's mother, barely escapes a murder attempt. But her relief is brief: Tom has disappeared.

Lazare and Maddi have every reason to believe that Tom did not die in the storm, and the investigation leads towards a possible kidnapping.
