Mayumi Dojima, a second-year student at the exclusive Yubiwa Academy Middle School, wants to find a star she glimpsed ten years ago. She gets help from the unofficial, secretive, and thoroughly mysterious Pretty Boy Detective Club.

Mayumi shows the members of the Pretty Boy Detective Club where she saw the lost star ten years ago. Her parents' deadline to stop searching for the star quickly approaches.

On their way home from school, Mayumi and Manabu are abducted by a group calling themselves the Twenties. They're after a secret hidden within the star that Mayumi is looking for.

The Pretty Boy Detective Club obtain an invitation to a mysterious casino, and discover that all the employees and patrons appear to be middle school children.

The Pretty Boy Detective Club figure out the trick Lai used to beat Nagahiro and sneak into the Reasonable Doubt Casino to battle Lai again, but they're met with an unexpected situation.

Thirty-three paintings are found while renovating the Club headquarters. The mysterious paintings appear based on works by legendary painters, but are missing human figures. The boys come up with their own theories as to who created the paintings.
