Zero, Gem and Del are aboard the recently stolen Rogue, on the run from the Imperium. An enormous experimental ship of unknown, alien origins, the Rogue had been outfitted with the latest Imperium technology, including the ship's artificial intelligence. On the hunt to solve a mystery, while being chased by the evil General Vykar, Zero and Gem will cross paths with Tag Anaton (son of the Rogue's former commander) and his android protector, Guardian. Tag's not happy to see them.
As Zero is forced to watch the destruction of an entire planet at the hands of General Vykar, Tag escapes the Imperium's clutches and winds up aboard the Rogue with Gem and Del. But he's brought along some unwelcome guests. Vykar's lieutenants, Kai and Barqel, cause chaos for the crew. Tag needs to choose which side he's on.
Drawn further into the depths of the ship, Gem, Zero and Tag discover a strange world beyond the Imperium Installations. This ship is old. Very, very old. Finding an ancient installation in the bowels of the ship, our team is confronted by a beast. This terrifying monster is hunting Gem and Zero. It has decided to add them to its collection.
Guardian has gone rogue, trapping both Zero and Vykar on a planet, he forces them to face challenges and monsters. While Del and Gemtry learn the Imperium's darkest secrets and Tag faces the might of the Spire alone, Vykar discovers a new power source that could change the destiny of the cosmos forever.
With all our characters in danger, the team will have to come together to beat the supercharged Vykar and stop him before it's too late. The team must learn to trust one another and come to see themselves as part of a new family.
The crew realise that something else is aboard the ship with them. The hunt is on to find out what it is, and if it poses a threat. What Zero and his friends discover is beyond their wildest imaginations, concealed in the vast hull of the Rogue is a magnificent library. And in that Library, the Librarian.
