Yuwen Hui, the son of Yuwen Hu, the most powerful man in the Northern Zhou Dynasty, publicly kidnaps a woman. Dugu Jieluo and Yang Jian, who cannot stand to see injustice, chase after him to save the abducted woman.

When Yuwen Hu learns that Dugu Xin and Yang Zhong's families are becoming in-laws, he devises a plan to keep them in check; Dugu Jieluo continues to be cold towards Yang Jiang.

Dokgo-gara plots to kill Woo Moon-ho, and Yang-gyeon secretly follows them to discover Dokgo-gara's whereabouts; when Dokgo Gara fails to kill Woo Mun-ho, Yang Gyeon is in danger, but Seo Tak rescues them.
