High schooler Li Cu (Leo Wu) is unexpectedly recruited by experienced tomb raider Wu Xie (Qin Hao) to explore the deadly Badain Jaran Desert, a region where no explorer has ever returned alive. Li Cu's back bears mysterious markings that provide crucial navigation clues, making him a valuable asset to the expedition. As Wu Xie assembles a team of adventurers, they face numerous challenges including rival tomb raiders and dangerous mummies while searching for lost treasure. The team's dangerous journey pushes them to their limits as they attempt to uncover the desert's long-hidden secrets.
