Six Flying Dragons

Yi Seong-gye captures a spy in his camp, and sends his officers to Gaegyeong with a message. He allows his youngest son, Bang-won, to travel to Gaegyeong ahead of the group.

Bang-won clashes with Lee In-gyeom, and later ignores his father's orders and runs away from home. Meanwhile, Boon-yi and Ddang-sae escape from Dohwa mansion, and Lee In-gyeom discusses the mysterious symbol with Gil Tae-mi.

Gil Tae-mi arrests Jeong Do-jeon, while his friends petition the King for his freedom. Jeong Do-jeon provides Boon-yi and Ddang-sae with information about their mother. Bang-won makes the decision to study at Sungkyungkwan.

Ddang-sae follows up on a lead about his mother and gets himself into danger. Meanwhile, Moo-hyul, the oldest sibling in a large family, begins his journey to becoming a swordsman in order to feed his siblings.

Following the assassination of Baek Yoon, Hong In-bang steps in to replace him. Meanwhile, Bang-won discovers a map and documents referring to a new country called New Joseon and hopes to track down the author.

Bang-won offers his help, but Boon-yi turns him down and decides to track down Jeong Do-jeon. Meanwhile, Moo-hyul decides, on the advice of his grandmother, to find The Viper and learn swordsmanship from him so he can enter the military.
