The Challenger Series brings together the top 48 women surfers from around the globe, all vying for a spot in the top five to qualify for the prestigious Championship Tour, where the world champion will be crowned.

The surfers have hit the fifth stop on the Challenger Series and it's a big event, US Open in Huntington, California; the waves are more challenging and unpredictable but being that this is the halfway point in the series.
