Gomez is very excited about the approaching election day and decides to support Sam Hilliard. At first, Hilliard is keen on receiving Gomez's contributions, but the Addams' suggestions soon make him wish they would stay away.

After receiving a rather insulting treatment from the Pomeroys, the Addams' hire Mr Pomeroy's genealogist to examine their lineage for ancestors they can boast about.

An escaped gorilla becomes part of the family, much to the surprise of Morticia's ladies group.
