In 1956, Federal Agent Gordon Rogers investigates the alleged alien abduction of a Native American family living in rural Connecticut.

Mabel gathers more knowledge about the alien abduction; Gordon plans a family bonding trip with his wife and their new daughter Abigail.

Glennie and Gilberto Sutton deal with their daughter's kidnapping a few days before their own disappearance; Gordon follows Mabel as she meets with a person who might be helpful in the alien abduction case.

Abigail learns about a sinister secret about Gordon's job; Gordon confronts Mabel about her visit to the Sutton Farm; a neighbor approaches Gordon with an unusual query.

Gordon's involvement in the Suttons' disappearance becomes obvious, and his dream of a perfect family begins to crumble.

Mabel keeps looking for the truth; the Suttons escape to find safety; a fellow government agent pays Gordon an unwelcome visit.
