The Irregular at Magic High School

Siblings Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba enrol at First High School to train as magicians. Tatsuya's test scores show him to be inept and he's placed in the Second Course, while Miyuki is placed in the First Course.

The president of the student council asks Miyuki to join the committee, but Miyuki refuses to consider it unless her brother can also join.

Disciplinary Committee Chair Mari Watanabe accepts Tatsuya onto the committee; everyone is surprised when Tatsuya defeats Hattori; Miyuki has mixed feelings about her brother.

Mibu thanks Tatsuya for his help and asks him to join the kendo team; Tatsuya is suspicious of Mibu's motives.

Mibu tells Tatsuya that they are planning to let the school know their thoughts about the discrimination among the students.

Intruders infiltrate the library and kidnap Mibu; Tatsuya and the others work to fight off the intruders and save Mibu.
