After leaving her job, Kelly moves in to a flat with new flatmates Evan and Alex. Alex faces difficulties in the male-dominated world of medicine, and Evan tries to avoid committing to the woman he is dating.

Kelly throws a party in the flat as Miranda compares her failure with Richie's success. Jason and Gabrielle share their news before Gab learns about Jason's affair, and Evan breaks up with Andrena.

Alex hates herself for betraying Gabrielle, and is not the only one. Kelly meets her ex-boss's wife. In an attempt to get over Leah, Will goes out with Sam.

While Richie soaks up the glamour of an actor's life, Miranda delivers a singing telegram. Leah pays Will back, but he struggles to get her out of his life; Evan falls in love with a mother of two.

Sam rescues Will from his recent performance issues with a sexual ambush. Evan decides he cannot see Carmen, despite being in love with her, and Jason begins flirting with Alex once again.

Sick of not knowing what to expect from Joseph, Kelly breaks up with him. Evan embraces his feelings for Carmen as Jason and Gabrielle attend a counselling session. Alex and Gab work on getting their friendship back on track.
