Raishin Akabane, an exchange student from Japan, arrives at the Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machinart with a goal: use his beautiful automaton Yaya to become the world's most powerful mage, gain access to the forbidden arts, and use them to kill a man.

One of the Rounds makes Raishin an offer he can't refuse. In exchange for a festival entry, he'll have to investigate a mysterious puppeteer who eats automatons' hearts.

Raishin and Yaya receive some unexpected visitors. Meanwhile, Felix and Charlotte each set out to capture "Cannibal Candy," but their plans have irreconcilable differences.

It's time for the final battle with Cannibal Candy, but is Yaya too wounded to fight?
