Summer is an ideal time to breed but with new life comes risk and parents must face the never-ending dangers of defending their young.

Summer brings with it many a bounty, but with the warming weather and longer days comes a rise in activity for both the hunter and the hunted. For every type of predator, there is a hunting technique unique to their species, and against the backdrop of sometimes unforgiving summer conditions, the race for survival is on.

Animals adapt to summer heat through various techniques like sweating, panting, or submerging in water. Reindeer migrate, elephants take mud baths, kangaroos lick forearms, eagles use thermal currents, and polar bears adjust their hunting techniques as ice melts.

In the animal kingdom, summer brings both bounty and risk, prompting diverse survival strategies. From koalas hugging trees for coolness to flamingos learning to feed, each species adapts uniquely. The goal remains constant: to survive and thrive.
