When Akari Akaza starts middle school, she chooses to join the Amusement Club with her friends Kyoko and Yui.

The student council's vice president is unhappy with Kyoko's good performance on tests. Meanwhile, Himawari and Sakurako are competing with each other for the position of vice-president.

Yui is now living alone in her apartment, and invites her friends over for lunch. Kyoko decides to spend the night, but remembers she hasn't completed her homework.

The girls write Tanabata wishes, but Kyoko is annoyed about Yui's response to Chinatsu's wish. Meanwhile, Ayona is studying to come out on top of the final exams.

Ayano is taken to a convention to help Kyoko sell her dojin. Meanwhile, Himawari and Sakurako work on their summer homework, and Chinatsu tries her hand at practice kissing.

A first year student's visit inspires Kyoko, before everyone meets Yui's relative's child, Mari, and Chinatsu dresses up as her favourite anime character.
